Intermediate Trick Award

Choose from these tricks. One trick from each bullet point must be performed ie kiss OR nose touch. Sit, down, stand is one trick.

• Beg / Wave

• Weave Through Legs / Come to middle

• Circle round handler / circle round object / directional casting 2 items

• Lie Flat / Head Down / Head Tilt

• Hold object 5 seconds / Carry item 7 seconds

• Bark, Quiet / put item in box

• Sit, Down not facing your dog / walk backward 3 paces

• Under (below shoulder height) / through covered hoop / platform hoop jump

• Blow bubbles in water / pick a card / swim 5 meters

• Stay 30 seconds / nose touch 10 seconds

• Emergency stop (towards handler) / balance on small object

• Walk on loose lead 20 paces / moving middle 10 paces

• roll over / hide under pillow / play dead

• Send to bed 5 paces away / 3 sequential tricks on target mat

• Any 2 tricks 3 meters from handler (can be done seperately)

• Play Bow / stand on small pedestal

• Circle Round you / Go Around Object

• Hold Item 3 secs / hold a position for 10 seconds

• Crawl / Go through Tunnel

• Paw Touch / Paws Up 

• Balance a treat on nose / stand on wobble board 5 seconds

• Put item in box

• Roll over / walk nicely on lead 15 paces

• Walk Plank / Brain Game

You will receive a certificate and a handmade rosette for passing your assessment.

What we need from you:

• A video of each trick performed 3 times (this can be different places or one after another)

• Videos can be sent individually or merged into one video

• Handlers must be visible in the videos for the trick

• You can use hand signal, verbal cue or both

• Food/toy must be out of your hand while you perform the trick - they can be given immediately after

• Tricks need to be taught without the use of force or pain

• Resubmissions are at the discretion of the assessor. You may resubmit a maximum of 3 tricks per assessment

Advanced Trick Award

Choose from these tricks. One trick from each bullet point must be performed ie kiss OR nose touch. Sit, down, stand is one trick.

• Directed retrieve 3 items / Differentiate 3 Toys by Name 

• Sit to stand not Facing your Dog / Call to Heel from 5 paces away

• Walk Backwards 10 paces / Weave Through Legs Walking / arm weave

• Sneeze / Yawn / Shake

• Chorus kicks / double hoop jumps

• Retrieve over jump / retrieve flat object / treibball

• Take Socks Off / Take something out of Bag / Take Object from Owners Head 

• Back feet target / wipe paws / stand on back paws

• Dockdive / pull wagon / long jump

• Look left and right / walk slowly / hold paw up 5 seconds

• Sit or stand on Wobble Board 15 secs / walk back and forward along a plank

• Get your food packet / bowl / lead / tidy toys

• Down to Stand all Paws in the Same Place / front and back paws balanced on 2 different objects

• Look Left, Right / Walk Slowly

• Find Food Following You / Find Food Following Hand Signals

• Any 3 tricks 5 meters away

• Hold Item While Moving / Hold While Doing Another Trick

• Pull Biscuit on String / painting

• Sit, Down, Stand from Words on Paper / different objects

• Cross Paws / spin while dancing

• Chin Rest on Table / Look Between Front Legs

• Three Rings over Holder / Find and Bring Keys

• Stand -Down, Sit- Down front Paws in Same Place / spin on Wobble Board / Sit-Stand Kick Back

• Get Item from Water / blow bubbles

• Tell me a Secret / hide eyes

• Go Through Moving Hoop / Jump through Two Hoops

• Down on one Hip, Switch to Other / 4 paws on pods
